Our client is currently seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) around the Chester County area. This role starts ASAP, is available for ESY/Summer programming, and will continue through the upcoming school year!Position TitleSchool Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)ScheduleElementary: 8:45 AM - 3:45 PMSecondary: 7:45 AM - 2:45 PMLunch: Unpaid 30-minute breakSchedule: Monday-FridayStart Date: ASAP Job SummaryThe Registered Behavioral Technician supports a positive, inclusive learning environment by assisting students with behavioral needs. This role works closely with students, teachers, and school staff to implement behavior strategies, monitor progress, and help maintain a safe and supportive school climate.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct behavioral assessments to identify student needs.Collaborate with staff to develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).Implement behavior strategies and interventions consistently.Collect and track behavioral data to monitor progress.Assist with crisis response and de-escalation when needed.Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and support teams.Participate in ongoing professional development related to behavior support.Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Promote an inclusive, respectful school environment.QualificationsRBT CertificationExperience supporting students with behavioral or special needsKnowledge of evidence-based behavior management strategiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCrisis intervention training (CPI, Safe Crisis Management, etc.) preferredPatience, empathy, and commitment to student well-being Required ClearancesPA Child Abuse Clearance (within 1 year)PA FBI Fingerprinting (within 1 year)PA State Police Background Check (within 1 year)TB Test (within 3 months)CPR and First AidMandated Reporter Training (Act 126) If you're looking for a meaningful role where you can make a real impact every day, we'd love for you to apply!
