The Junior Estimator serves as a key support partner to the preconstruction team and plays an important role in helping keep scopes, bids, documentation, schedules, and communication organized and moving forward.The right candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, comfortable working with subcontractors and internal teams, and ready to contribute in a fast-paced construction environment.What You'll Be DoingYou will support preconstruction activities across assigned projects from RFP through operational handoff. This includes helping manage subcontractor bid flow, maintaining project logs and documentation, assisting with scope and budget support, participating in job walks and meetings, and helping ensure project information is current and actionable.Key responsibilities include:Supporting estimating and budget development alongside the preconstruction teamAssisting with job walks, scope reviews, owner calls, and project meetingsTaking detailed meeting notes and preparing clear meeting minutesCoordinating meetings, invites, agendas, and site access detailsDistributing bid packages and invitations to bid to subcontractorsTracking bid activity, subcontractor questions, clarifications, and due datesHelping identify scope gaps, overlaps, and inconsistencies in bidsMaintaining Smartsheet logs, RFI logs, assumptions and exclusions, and other preconstruction documentationOrganizing project folders, drawings, specifications, addenda, and correspondenceSupporting Bluebeam takeoffs, quantity checks, and scope validationAssisting with early submittal planning and long lead item trackingCommunicating status updates, risks, and follow-up items to project leadershipWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field, or equivalent construction or preconstruction experience1 to 3 years of experience in estimating, bid coordination, construction administration, or preconstruction supportWorking knowledge of construction scopes and subcontractor tradesAbility to read plans and specifications and assist with basic scope reviewExperience with Smartsheet or similar tracking toolsExperience with Bluebeam Revu for takeoffs, markups, and document reviewProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and TeamsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesClear written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail, follow-through, and accountabilityTeam-oriented approach and willingness to support others where neededWhy This Opportunity Stands Out
