Electrical Engineer Minneapolis, MN $55-60/hour Long-Term Contract-to-Hire About the Role A leading defense and aerospace company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support advanced military and combat vehicle programs. In this role, you will help design, test, integrate, and support electrical systems used in defense technologies, weapon systems, and military platforms. You will work alongside project engineering teams to support system design, troubleshooting, analysis, and product development from concept through field deployment. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and evaluate electrical and electronic systemsSupport electrical integration for combat vehicles, weapon systems, and military equipmentCreate and maintain:Product specificationsTechnical documentationIntegration proceduresVerification and validation documentsDevelop and review:Electrical schematicsInterconnect drawingsInterface control documentsPerform circuit analysis and simulations using tools such as PSpice or LTspiceSupport system modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, and testing activitiesAnalyze electrical components, subsystems, and full system architecturesEvaluate vendor products, technologies, and technical capabilitiesCommunicate technical findings and engineering recommendations to internal teams and customers Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldExperience with:Analog and digital circuit designCircuit analysis and simulationReading and creating electrical schematicsTechnical documentation, reports, and engineering analysisAbility to solve moderately complex engineering and design challengesStrong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with the following tools and technologies:MATLABSimulinkPSpiceLabVIEWOrCADVisio Familiarity with programming languages such as:CC#LabWindows/CVI Additional experience with military or commercial design standards is a plus.
