This role partners with cross‑functional stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver optimal commercial, operational, and risk outcomes. The role requires strong category expertise, negotiation capabilities, and stakeholder management skills to achieve strategic objectives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute IT category strategies focused on cost quality, delivery service and technologyLead sourcing and procurement activities to achieve measurable business resultsServe as the primary commercial interface with suppliers, managing cost, contracts, performance, risk, and relationshipsEstablish and manage supplier KPIs to assess performance, financial health, and technical capabilityLead commercial and contractual negotiations for assigned categories and servicesCoordinate business and technical requirements with stakeholders to support sourcing and negotiationsDrive supplier performance improvement and innovation across global and cross‑functional teamsEnsure execution of goals aligned to annual operating and strategic plansMaintain strong awareness of market conditions and global category dynamicsRepresent supplier and category interests within Versigent across regions and functionQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Technology or related; Masters preferredMinimum of five years of experience in a similar global role sourcing IT Software, Hardware, Network, Telco and/or Cloud services; hardware most preferredStrong strategic sourcing, financial analysis, and contract negotiation skillsSolid understanding of IT sourcing best practices and commercial agreementsExperience reviewing and negotiating contract terms and resolving issuesStrong analytical capabilities, including cost and TCO modelingEffective relationship‑building and stakeholder management skillsExperience with Ariba preferredAbility to work onsite in Troy, MIMust be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the futureWHY JOIN US?Grow with purpose.
