EHS Manager

Job Location: San Dimas, CA Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required; Master’s degree desirable. 5 years of Safety and Hazmat Manager experience preferred. Developed and implemented inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections. Developed health and safety procedures Managed OSHA 300 Job Responsibilities: Implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. The EHSS will also be responsible for all compliance reporting, permitting and regulatory environmental compliance for the company. Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks. Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics. Monitors compliance with safety procedures. Ensures that all local CA OSH requirements are met. Completes all documentation for workers comp injuries and performs necessary accident investigations reporting all to Corp. HR Manager within timely standard. Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings. Ensures that safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
