Java Software Engineer

Java Software Engineer position open in South Carolina for a full-time/direct hire Software Engineer with a 4 year college degree, who is interested in a 100% REMOTE role. This is an opportunity to work with an established enterprise-level organization and a highly-technical team of software developers. You can GROW your skills! Candidates must have a high technical aptitude with a Bachelors degree and must be able to drive to office located in Greenville, SC once a month. Visa sponsorship not available for this role. Required Qualifications: 3+ years software development experience in an enterprise production environment Bachelors in Computer Science or other degree Ability to code in core Java, Spring, React or Angular, and SQL database Ability to pass a Java test in a coding exercise Excellent communication skills and ability to talk to the business about requirements for software applications Desired Skills: Experience with any of these technologies:Java web services (Jersey, etc) Test driven development Angular, React, Node.js, npm, yarn REST architectures Container technologies including docker, kubernetes and Helm OWASP Experience developing and/or supporting web applications Understanding of Agile methodology Knowledge of Linux Programming experience with robotics What sets this company apart?
