It’s a unique opportunity to gain valuable industry insight while working alongside experts at one of the world's leading energy and commodities groups.Responsibilities:Energy Trading Settlement Activities:Timely and accurate settlement of physical and financial energy trading activity including the resolution of aged balancesWork with other settlements team members, traders, schedulers, and pipelines to resolve discrepanciesEstablish and maintain positive relationships with counterparties and internal contacts with timely responses to requests for information and researchMaintain and update procedural documentation for settlement activitiesIdentify and suggest improvements to settlement processes to improve efficiency and accuracyParticipate in the development and testing of new settlement systems or enhancements to existing systemsEngage in formal learning and hands-on training initiatives designed for new joiners to the industryTechnical qualifications:Minimum Requirements:Undergraduate degreeStrong technical, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft ExcelKeen interest in the energy commodity trading industrySkills:Positive approach to problem solvingExcellent numerical skills and highest regard for attention to detail, accuracy & qualityAble to withstand pressure and juggling multiple prioritiesConfidence in own abilitiesStrong analytical skills, experience with data visualization applications preferredDemonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team environmentEffective communication at all levels of the firm
