Together, our 10 offices have created an energized engineering powerhouse offering enhanced capabilities to our ever-growing client base.What You Will DoWe have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our growing team out of our Orlando office. Engineer would be responsible for entire project cycle to include design, development, and project completion. This role will prepare engineering analyses and drawings for review by their leader.ResponsibilitiesManage client relationships and lead meetings with architects and contractors to ensure project successSecure new work from existing clients and contribute to proposal and RFI developmentProvide technical expertise and oversee the preparation of design calculations, construction documents, and submittalsCoordinate cross-disciplinary information to ensure deliverables meet client expectations and quality standardsServe as Engineer of Record (EOR) for projects designed by others, when requiredQualificationsWhat We Are Looking For:PE or SE LicenseBS w/ PE, MS w/ PE and / or SE5 to 10 years experience in building designActive Professional Engineer license, possibly in multiple statesSeismic experience requiredExperience in RevitExperience with industry standard software, including but not limited to Microsoft products, Bentley (RAM) products, RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, etc.Skills And CompetenciesAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines, and bring each to completion.Ability to identify applicable codes in project-specific jurisdictions and apply to the project.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are requiredBe self motivated and able to work within a team structure and independently.Be willing to take ownership of all work performed.What We OfferAt Bennett & Pless, our vision is to be a place where employees thrive.
