The Project Manager is accountable for the overall performance of the assigned project(s) and is responsible for understanding, planning, executing, controlling, monitoring, reviewing, and delivering the project with the support of the project team.Responsibilities and DutiesReview contract documents, clarify the scope and resolve discrepanciesPrepare project’s budget and schedule of valuesIdentify permits, licenses, and procedures required in place prior to commencement of workCreate project-specific quality and safety standardsReview and complete buyouts, identify contract scope omissions and amend subcontracts as necessaryGenerate a comprehensive project schedule, with the assistance of project team and trades involved, incorporating client’s milestones and required phasing. Provide monthly schedule updates and revisionsEstablish a streamlined process for pre-construction, construction, and project close-out phaseProcure major equipmentTrack progress to ensure completion of work within target deadlinesConduct monthly production control and cashflow projections meetingsIdentify and resolve issues impacting budget and/or scheduleScreen RFIs, submittals, and other project deliverables for contract complianceReview change order submissionsReview monthly payment requisitions and subcontractor paymentsReview documents submitted in Procore for completenessEnforce fulfillment of responsibilities following ICSC internal proceduresAssign tasks to project team and subcontractors based on priority, importance, and scheduleAttend meetings with owner, client, subcontractors, and staffCoordinate in house manpower and resources with other project managersEstablish and maintain effective relationships internally and externally of ICSCLead and motivate project personnel to maximize their contribution and professional growthDeliver ongoing feedback and address performance issuesPerform staff performance evaluations on a regular basisRecognize training needs and ensure that staff gain needed skillsSuggest appropriate training opportunities and assignmentsEngage staff in using best-practice tools and methodologyDirect construction activities of the subcontractors, laborers, and other staff as assignedQualifications And SkillsFive-year minimum construction project management experience required One+ years of site superintendent or engineer experience preferred A NYS professional engineer license (PE) is requiredPrior experience with MTA project management is preferred Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred Possession of OSHA 30, at a minimum, is required Strong oral and written communication.Excellent time management and communication skills
