Test Engineer III
Overview
As a Test Engineer III, you design, develop, and improve Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for aerospace and electronic products, ensuring cost, quality, and customer requirements. You’ll work on new designs, modernization, and analyses using engineering tools to deliver economical, robust test solutions. You collaborate across functions to meet performance and manufacturability targets and contribute to process improvements. This role offers hands-on leadership in test engineering with impact on product development and sustaining efforts. You’ll engage in a challenging, fast-paced environment that values rigor and cross-functional teamwork.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Automated Test Equipment (ATE)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance and cost targetsDefine and comply with guidelines to ensure safe operating environmentsSupport continuous improvement through Kaizen, 5S, and team developmentPlan, estimate, and manage work to align with schedules and budgetsDevelop and review technical documents, procedures, and test plansLead multifunctional teams on capital test engineering projects up to $500,000Design, code, and debug test systems with LabVIEW/TestStand or similar toolsCreate complete design packages including schematics, wiring, and BOMsGenerate test procedures and establish equipment specifications and test limitsDocument, validate, and control software and test data
