We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join one of the nations most integrated healthcare systems, with over 1,400 providers in Indianapolis, IN. This opportunity is located at our Center for Advanced Heart Care at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital.HighlightsCommunity Physician Network in Indianapolis, part of Community Health Network, has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work alongside our Cardiology team located at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital. This Advanced Practice Provider will work within a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on delivering the best quality care to our patients.Must possess the ability to independently evaluate 8 to 12 patients a day and handle stressful situationsBlend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilitiesMust have excellent communication, critical thinking, and planning skillsMust be able to work weekend rotations Saturday and Sunday required Licensure and CertificationEducational background consistent with requirements for licensure and certification within the state of Indiana.ExperienceCardiology experience preferred, but not requiredMust successfully complete a nationally recognized Advanced Practice Nurse certification examination or have current national certification; must maintain certification on an ongoing basis.Must be eligible for prescriptive authority under the criteria outlined by the Indiana State Board of Nursing; must maintain eligibility for prescriptive authority on an ongoing basis.
