Senior Salesforce Administrator

3rd Party Candidates will NOT BE CONSIDERED!!Our client is seeking a Salesforce Senior Administrator / Junior Developer to support a highly customized Salesforce environment for a growing organization. This role goes beyond standard administration—you’ll act as a solution architect, systems thinker, and business partner, helping guide decisions in a complex ecosystem with multiple integrations and advanced reporting needs.This is an onsite, contract-to-hire role in Nashville, TN offering the opportunity to take ownership of a critical platform and influence how the business operates.What You’ll DoServe as the primary Salesforce expert, supporting and evolving a heavily customized Salesforce instanceDesign and architect solutions, not just execute tickets—evaluate business requests and determine scalable, long-term approachesPartner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, clearly communicating tradeoffs and impactsManage and enhance integrations with external systems (e.g., DocuSign, mobile field inspection tools, other data sources)Support and optimize Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Sales Engagement, and Salesforce MapsOwn complex reporting and analytics, working across Salesforce native reporting and TableauLead change request intake and prioritization, ensuring alignment with broader business processes and minimizing downstream riskFacilitate discussions with stakeholders to challenge assumptions and guide better decision-makingContribute light development work as needed (Apex, Flows, integrations, etc.)Collaborate with internal and external teams using tools like Slack and JiraWhat We’re Looking For Core Experience5+ years of Salesforce experience in admin and solution design rolesStrong experience in highly customized Salesforce environmentsHands-on experience with: o Flows, validation rules, automation o Apex or programmatic solutions (junior-to-mid level) o Integrations and external data sourcesExperience with Sales Engagement, Salesforce Maps, or similar toolsStrong background in reporting and analytics, including Tableau Solution & Architecture MindsetAbility to evaluate requests holistically, considering downstream impacts across the systemExperience designing scalable, maintainable solutions, not just quick fixesComfortable pushing back on stakeholders when needed and proposing better alternatives Communication & LeadershipStrong ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholdersProven experience working in fast-paced or challenging environmentsComfortable navigating competing prioritiesExperience acting as a bridge between business users and technical teamsNice to HaveExperience working in organizations with multiple external data integrationsExposure to field operations or mobile inspection toolsPrior experience in a contract-to-hire or consulting environmentWork Environment & ExpectationsOnsite role based in Nashville, TNCollaborative but high-demand environment with strong personalities and evolving business needsRequires someone who is resilient, solutions-oriented, and confident in driving conversations
