License: Must have relevant state licenses in hand. Certifications: CPI, BLS required. Must-Have: - 1 year of experience - Locked Unit experience - Skills in vital signs, de-escalation techniques, and application of restraints - Experience with adult patients (18 years and older) Description: Auto Offer available. Experience required includes working in a locked unit. Knowledge of vital signs, application of 4-point restraints, and de-escalation techniques is necessary. Experience leading group therapy is preferred. The clientele includes patients aged 18 years and older. No on-call or float duties are required. CPR certification is mandatory. The role involves managing patients with various psychiatric diagnoses. The focus is on stabilization and safety of individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. Electronic Q15 min rounding is part of the unit's special equipment. Candidates are expected to have strong therapeutic communication skills. Experience in crisis intervention and behavior management techniques is essential. Applicants should possess knowledge of medication side effects and isolation procedures. Skills in managing assaultive behavior and conducting safety checks are necessary. A commitment to maintaining a therapeutic milieu is required. Experience with psychological disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and substance-related disorders is preferred. Basic competencies include assisting with ambulation and feeding patients. Allotted time off and scheduling requests must be communicated during the interview process.
