This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.Join Homans as a Staff Accountant / AR Claim Analyst and play a key role in our financial operations. In this hands-on position, you'll split your time between managing accounts receivable claims and supporting core accounting functions. You'll work closely with our FP&A team to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth day-to-day operations. No relocation assistance is available for this position.Company Website: http://www.homans.comAR Claim Analyst Key ResponsibilitiesProcess monthly receivable claims for 16 vendors and manage associated reportingOrganize Mitsubishi claim files by rebate code and create separate tracking sheetsGenerate monthly aged claim reports and submit to accountingManage COOP (Co-op) vendor funding requests and track funding statusSubmit utility rebate requests to New England state programsAnalyze and report on excess, slow-moving, and damaged inventory.Staff Accountant Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with weekly, monthly, and annual revenue and inventory reportingSupport the FP&A Manager in developing P&L and Balance Sheet forecastsPrepare and distribute month-end financial reports to senior managementContribute to budget and forecast development by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial dataHandle special projects as assigned.Other duties as assigned.
