POSITION SUMMARY To support Hunt Regional Medical Partners' multi-specialty practice in a clinical and administrative capacity. Greet and Room Patients7. Check Vitals8. Obtain History/Physical, Reason for Visit9. Reconcile Medication(s) with Patient10. Assist Physician/Provider in Patient Interaction and Procedures11. Patient Treatment Room Preparation and Maintenance12. Data Entry of Demographic and Clinical Information into HMRP System(s)13. Referral Coordination, both outgoing and incoming14. Surgery Scheduling and Coordination between Physician/Hospital and Patient15. Pre-Operative Appointment Scheduling and Coordination between Hospital and Patient16. Communicating Lab and Procedure Results to Patients17. Review and Clarification of patient consent forms with patient prior to patient signing forms18. Call/Process Prescriptions to Pharmacy as applicable19. Ability to provide and explain instructions for Patient Procedure Preparation, Prescription, and other directives needed with regard to patient education20. Preparation of Chart information for Physician as needed/requested21. Inventory Maintenance22. Patient Education23. Teach use of Sliding Scale for correct use/dose of insulin, blood glucose monitor for patient self-management of diabetes24. Teach use of Peak Flow Meter and Inhaler use for COPD and/or Asthma25. Preform Glucometer, including QC of glucometer26. Perform PFT27. Perform ABI Measuring28. Perform EKG29. Determine Eligibility and Benefits30. Authorize and Pre-Certification of Procedures31. Schedule Appointments and Procedures in System(s)32. Scan Documents into System(s)33. Index Scanned Documents34. Check in and out functions35. Collect Appropriate Copayments and Co-Insurances36.
