Physical Therapist - Rehab - Regular-Part-Time - Days/Evenings

Job Description:PURPOSE OF JOB: To provide Physical Therapy services to patients throughout the lifespan, who have impairments and functional limitations, disabilities or changes in their physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. Upon referral from a physician, the physical therapist interacts and practices in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide prevention and wellness services. They consult, educate and engage in critical inquiry and administrate care. They direct, provide and supervise physical therapy servicesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Integrates the five elements of patient management(examination, evaluation,prognosis and intervention) in a manner to maximize outcomesPerforms accurate and timely documentation and billing.Consistently meets department productivity standards, while providing care thatmaximizes patient outcomes.Job Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:A. Education: Bachelor of Science, Masters or Doctorate Degree or Certificate ofPhysical Therapy from an accredited program in physical therapyB. Experience: Current Licensure in the State of Pennsylvania as a Physical TherapistFor pool therapist, Previous work experience, as a physical therapist isnecessaryC. Other Skills: Must possess the ability to work independently and in a team.Must possess the ability to problem solve, demonstrate good judgmentand make good decisions.Most possess computer skillsActive member of the American Physical Therapy Association isdesirableCertified in CPR/BLS.
