Client Billing Specialist
The Client Billing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and client-friendly billing processes. This position partners closely with account teams and finance leadership to manage invoicing, track billable activity, and support revenue operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven client-service environment.What You’ll DoPrepare, review, and issue client invoices based on contracts, scopes of work, and time and expense tracking Partner with account team managers to ensure billable time and expenses are captured and coded correctlyManage monthly billing cycles, including retainer, project-based and hourly billing structures Review client contracts to ensure billing aligns with agreed terms, rates, and timelines; includes monitoring unbilled revenue and following up with account Monitor unbilled revenue and follow up with account team managers as needed Support accounts receivable efforts, including tracking payments, following up on outstanding invoices, resolving client billing inquiries, and providing regular reports to agency management Assist in revenue reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes Identify and recommend process improvements Maintain organized records of invoices, contracts, and client communications What You’ll Bring2–5 years of billing, accounts receivable, or finance experience (agency or professional services environment preferred) Strong understanding of billing models (retainers, hourly, project-based) High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally Proficiency in Excel and accounting/billing systems (QuickBooks and experience with time-tracking tools is a plus) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive problem- solving capabilities Strong sense of ownership and accountability Collaborative and service-oriented mindset Bachelor Degree in Accounting or FinancePreferred ExperienceExperience in a PR, marketing, or other professional services firm Familiarity with revenue recognition principles Exposure to project-based accounting or agency operations About 360PR+Celebrating our 25th anniversary, 360PR+ has always prioritized people, offering exciting and industry-leading benefits for employees at every stage of their careers and lives.
