Overview A specialized industrial engineering and manufacturing organization is seeking a Project Engineer to support the design and execution of projects within CO liquefaction and dry ice production systems.This role sits at the intersection of engineering design, project execution, and client interaction, offering the opportunity to work on technically complex systems in a niche and growing sector. The company provides a collaborative environment where engineers are involved across the full project lifecycle - from concept through installation and commissioning.The RoleThe Project Engineer will be responsible for designing, managing, and supporting industrial refrigeration and process system projects. This includes equipment sizing, system design, documentation, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.This is a hands-on role requiring both technical expertise and project coordination, with involvement in design reviews, fabrication support, and field implementation.Success in this role means delivering accurate engineering solutions, supporting efficient project execution, and ensuring systems are designed to meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.ResponsibilitiesEngineering & DesignLead the design of industrial refrigeration and CO process systemsSize refrigeration equipment, piping systems, and related componentsDevelop and review P&ID drawings and technical documentationPrepare instrumentation bills of materials (BOMs) for projectsSupport standardization efforts for modular system designsProject Execution & CoordinationSupport project lifecycle from concept through installation and commissioningAssist with project estimating and proposal developmentCollaborate with Project Managers on resource planning and project trackingWork closely with fabrication teams to ensure design alignment and executionSupport installation and commissioning with service and field teamsTechnical Support & CollaborationProvide technical support to internal teams including technicians, designers, and project managersAct as a liaison between engineering, operations, and clientsParticipate in vendor coordination, design reviews, and engineering assessmentsSupport troubleshooting and technical service for installed systemsClient & Stakeholder ManagementInterface with clients to support project delivery and technical communicationAssist in managing project costs and ensuring alignment with client expectationsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within industrial systems or refrigerationWorking knowledge of CAD or AutoCADExperience with industrial refrigeration systems, piping, or process systems preferredStrong understanding of engineering design principles and system integrationAbility to read and develop technical drawings including P&IDsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsSoft SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively across teamsHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a technical environmentProactive and solution-oriented mindsetSalaryCompetitive compensation based on experienceLocationPampa, Texas.
