Regional Coordinator, Student Placement & SupportTemporary-to-Permanent | Full-Time | Hybrid (Stamford, CT)Compensation: $25 - $27 per hour, based on a standard 35 - hours work weekReports to: Director of Students ServicesAcademic Year in America (AYA), a member of the AIFS family of programs, is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Regional Coordinator to support international student placement and participant support efforts across the United States.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, solving problems, building relationships, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of international students and host families.This is a full-time temporary-to-permanent opportunity with the potential for long-term employment. We connect international students with American host families and local communities to create meaningful global experiences and lifelong connections.What You'll DoPlace international students with qualified American host familiesBuild and maintain relationships with host families, students, schools, and community partnersRecruit, coach, and support a network of Local CoordinatorsConduct outreach and relationship-building activities to meet placement goalsProvide guidance and support to students throughout their program experienceAssist with conflict resolution and student support situations with professionalism and empathyCoordinate student rematch efforts when placement changes are necessaryEnsure compliance with company policies and Department of State regulationsSupport additional departmental and organizational initiatives as needed
