The right Tolls Attendant will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.The Tolls Attendant is responsible for all aspects of the toll booth operation, to include safety, friendliness, cleanliness and line speed within assigned areas.Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.Summary of Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesGreets guests and initiates friendly interaction. Provide guest excellence, which exceeds expectations, answers questions, and provides park informationEffectively uses empowerment to ensure Dollywood's 100% Satisfaction Guarantee policy is implementedEffectively performs in the role of Tolls Attendant to include (but not limited to):Accurately sells parking tickets and processing online salesEfficiently processes cash and credit card transactions in accordance with accounting proceduresProvides directions to meet Guest needs for refunds, exchanges and other special needsManages cash funds, deposits, and credit card balancing to ensure all revenue is collected and balanced dailyPromotes the value of Preferred and Valet ParkingFacilitates traffic in areas of responsibility to ensure smooth and consistent flow of trafficCompletes daily written reports and turn in any necessary paperwork to Cash OfficeOperates vehicles/work each position in all weather conditionsMaintains a sense of urgency toward area of operation to reduce Guest wait timeUses time productively to include sweeping, clearing cobwebs, straightening cones, and other similar itemsAssists with other areas in parking as needed/requested by ManagementWears and maintains a themed costume issued by DollywoodPerforms special projects as directed by ManagementAttends all required Training Classes and MeetingsComplies with safety and security directives, policies and procedures to ensure Hosts/Guests safety at all timesReacts calmly and quickly in stressful/emergency situations. Employees may also be required to travel to various areas on property which may include changes in terrain, stairs and uneven surfacesRepetitive Movements: This position may require performing repetitive movements and tasks throughout the shift, including repeated use of hands, arms or other body parts as part of typical job functionsEnvironmental Conditions: This position requires the ability to perform work tasks in varying weather conditions to include extreme cold and heat.
