We are seeking an ATE Software Test Engineer to support, maintain, and improve automated test systems used for product validation and quality testing. This role sits within the Quality organization and is focused on improving objectivity, consistency, and efficiency across validation and test processes.The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on LabVIEW experience, preferably 6+ years, along with experience developing, supporting, or improving automated test systems in a structured manufacturing, automotive, consumer electronics, semiconductor, automotive electronics, or related environment.This role requires someone who can learn an existing internally developed automated test platform, understand current SOPs and standardized work processes, and then help improve the automation environment over time. The right person will bring technical expertise, but also humility, strong listening skills, and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, support, troubleshoot, and improve automated test systems used for product validation and quality testingWork hands-on with LabVIEW-based test software and automation platformsLearn the existing internally developed automated test system and identify opportunities for improvementSupport validation activities within the Quality organization to improve objectivity and consistency in testingCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, Validation, and Manufacturing teams to support test system needsFollow established SOPs, standardized work instructions, and quality processesContribute to automation improvements that increase efficiency, repeatability, and reliabilitySupport quality system initiatives, including preparation for future ISO certificationApply structured problem-solving and documentation practices in a quality-focused environmentCommunicate clearly with cross-functional teams and remain open to feedback, training, and collaborationRequired QualificationsStrong hands-on LabVIEW experienceExperience developing, maintaining, or improving automated test systemsAbility to troubleshoot software, hardware, and test system issuesExperience working in a structured manufacturing, validation, or quality environmentAbility to follow SOPs, standardized work, and established internal processesStrong communication, listening, and teamwork skillsWillingness to learn an existing internal system before making improvementsProfessional, humble, stable, and collaborative work styleMust be comfortable working 100% onsite in Tempe, ArizonaPreferred Qualifications6+ years of LabVIEW experience preferredAutomotive industry experience highly preferredFamiliarity with AIAG standards preferredExperience in consumer electronics, semiconductor, automotive electronics, or related industriesBasic understanding of ISO quality systemsExperience supporting automated test systems in a production, validation, or quality environmentBackground working with standardized processes, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts
