Electromechanical Technician

Overview:A consumer goods manufacturing company is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support production equipment through advanced electrical troubleshooting, PLC diagnostics, and preventative maintenance in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, focusing on complex electrical issuesDiagnose PLC logic, sensors, control boards, power, and electrical systemsTroubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systemsAssemble machine components using hand toolsBuild and wire electro‑mechanical circuits; program PLCsPerform daily inspections and preventative maintenanceInstall new equipment, material handling systems, and pneumaticsInstall conduit, wiring, VFDs, switches, motors, and controlsRequired Skills:2+ years of experience with PLCs, pneumatics, and electrical circuitsStrong electrical troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of mechanical systems, machine drives, and fabricationAbility to read electrical schematicsPlusses:Manufacturing or automated equipment experiencePreventative maintenance backgroundEquipment installation or modification experience
