You'll manage commissioning activities, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure systems perform exactly as designed.Primary project typesData Centers & AI Infrastructure (˜80% of current workload)Fulfillment CentersSecurity Systems (office, lab, and data center environments)Grocery & Refrigeration FacilitiesSelect Educational FacilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesManage commissioning activities for large, complex facilitiesDevelop and execute commissioning plans, test procedures, SOPs, and MOPsLead equipment pre-start-up, start-up, and functional performance testingPerform integrated system testing and load bank testingReview design documents, drawings, specifications, and submittalsMaintain commissioning logs, checklists, and documentationPrepare comprehensive commissioning reports, including deficiencies and operational recommendationsInterface with clients, contractors, vendors, and owner representativesSupport troubleshooting and validation of electrical systems in the fieldParticipate in commissioning meetings and construction coordination as requiredWhat You BringExperience & CredentialsMinimum 4+ years of commissioning experience (more is ideal)Strong electrical background requiredPrior data center or mission-critical experience is a mustCCP or CxA certification strongly preferredNFPA 70E and OSHA 10 or 30 required(Can be provided post-hire for earlier-career candidates, but experienced professionals are expected to already have this background)Technical ExpertiseHands-on experience with power quality meters, infrared cameras, data loggers, and related testing equipmentFamiliarity with integrated systems testing and electrical equipment validationWorking knowledge of IEEE procedures and protocols (preferred)Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (primary), Word, and ProjectExperience with CxAlloy preferred (client-specific platforms such as AWS, Microsoft, or Meta tools may also be required)CommunicationStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable producing detailed documentation and client-facing reportsTools & Support Provided2:1 laptop setupSafety gear and specialized commissioning equipmentCell phone reimbursementAccess to industry-standard and owner-required software platformsTravel & Team Structure~65% national travel (no international travel)Data center projects typically follow a 3 weeks on / 1 week off scheduleWeek-off does not impact PTO accrualCommissioning team is distributed nationwide, allowing proximity to projects and efficient deploymentCompensation & Benefits$100,000–$160,000 base salary, depending on experienceBonus eligibility (higher responsibility = higher upside)PTO accrual based on years of experience1099 engagement structure (details shared during the process)Growth OpportunitiesEarlier-career professionals can expand into project management or leadership responsibilitiesSenior professionals gain access to larger clients, more complex projects, and increased compensationLong-term stability with a firm committed to investing in its people, not cycling through themCompensation: $100,000-$160,000 per yearJ-18808-Ljbffr
