Technician, Rework (2nd shift)

FTAI invests in aviation assets and aerospace products that generate strong and stable cash flows with the potential for earnings growth and asset appreciation.FTAI operates globally and has offices in New York, Miami, Montreal, Singapore, Dubai, United Kingdom and Ireland.JOB OVERVIEWPerforms disassembly and re-assembly steps with minimal instruction.Responsibilities:Follows operation sheets, engineering drawings, and engineering change orders in completion of the re-assembly tasks.Exercisescareto ensure that each step in the process is completed correctly and that each re-assembly meets the quality specifications.Notifiestheappropriate personnelof any problems associated with the disassembly or re-assembly process.Maintains records asrequiredto charge direct labor time to specific product amounts.Performs duties using a variety of hand tools and related production equipment.Provides training and mentoring for other employees asrequired.Performs other routine operations withinfairly similarsituations asrequired.Provide written and/or oral communications concerning a variety of situations.Keeps workstation, tools, and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.Understands andcomplieswithall Company, safetyrulesand regulations.Engages andparticipatesin aself-directed teaming environment.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED+3 yearsof manufacturing experienceMust be legally authorized to work in the U.SMust be fluent in English (written and verbal)Pass pre-employment drug testing per FAA/DOT regulations. NOTE: This position is subject to random drug and alcohol testing Preferred Qualifications: IPC-A-610 CertificationJ-STD-001 CertificationIPC-7711 CertificationJob Demands:Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance.
