Job Description Apply Today, Work TodayWeekly PayJob Description:We are Hiring Immediately for a Assembly position!Position OverviewThe Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling components and subassemblies in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and demonstrated carpentry experience to ensure precision in assembly and fit.Key Responsibilities· Review and interpret assembly instructions, technical drawings, specifications, and parts lists to determine required materials, tools, and processes.· Assemble components and subassemblies by accurately measuring, positioning, and securing parts using appropriate tools and techniques.· Perform carpentry-related tasks, including measuring, cutting, fitting, fastening, and finishing.· Inspect completed assemblies to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications.· Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues by adjusting dimensions or collaborating with the supervisor to obtain necessary resources.· Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions to minimize downtime.· Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.· Monitor inventory of tools and materials, notifying supervisor of shortages and assisting with replenishment.· Complete required production, quality, and safety documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support team efforts to meet project deadlines and quality objectives.Qualifications and Requirements· Proven experience in assembly, carpentry or related trades (e.g., woodworking, controls, instrumentation, or electrical experience is an asset).· Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and written instructions.· Knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques, hand and power tools, and carpentry practices.· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make accurate adjustments to ensure fit and finish.· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.· Demonstrated ability to train and share knowledge with team members.· Strong organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills.· Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet project requirements.· Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
