Server Assistant

SAAP Cary is a Laotian Restaurant and Bar located in Downtown Cary. We are opening for service in November of 2023, but will start paid-training for all staff starting October 2023. Job Summary: The Server Assistant will be responsible for assisting servers and bartenders in running the food out to the tables and cleaning off the tables when they are finished. They are eager to assist guests with requests for things like condiments, silverware, etc. Server Assistants will have side work to be completed. Responsibilities: · Will assist servers by helping take food to their tables. · Will be required to know how to properly clean and reset a table, so it is ready for the next guest. · Will assist guests by honoring their requests for things like silverware, condiments, plate ware, etc. · Completes side work including things like; polishing silverware, restocking stations, etc. · Must be knowledgeable of the food menu and able to properly describe it. Requirements: · Must be at least 18. · Must be able to stand for long periods of time. · Ability to have a flexible schedule (Nights, days, weekends) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
