Entry-Level Utility Operator (3rd Shift)
Our Client is seeking a Utility Operator for a 3rd shift opportunity in Dallas, TX. This entry-level role supports plant operations and serves as a pathway into future operator positions within the facility.
Responsibilities include housekeeping and equipment cleaning, assisting operations and maintenance teams, supporting product handling activities, operating mobile equipment, assisting with rail and barge operations, and providing support across multiple areas of the plant. Candidates may also be asked to support other shifts as business needs require and participate in Saturday cleaning activities.
The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment. Candidates with experience unloading railcars or trucks and a stable work history are highly preferred.
Schedule: 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Monday–Friday)
Pay: $17.00-19.00/hour
Overtime required at times | 40-50 hours/week
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and basic documentation skills
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor, including climbing, bending, kneeling, and working at heights
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules as needed
Strong attendance, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous manufacturing, production, agricultural, or industrial experience
Experience unloading railcars and/or trucks
Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, or front-end loaders
Experience with rail operations, barge movements, or material handling
Stable work history and strong safety mindset
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
