Machine Operator

Job Summary:We are a fast-growing, family-owned company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our doorline team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for paying careful attention to the job, follow instructions precisely, work safely, and double-check his or her work before completing a task, all while maintaining speed and accuracy.Duties and Responsibilities:Setting up a machineInspect product throughout the processRun wood and /or metal doors through the cutting machineLift metal and wood doorsHave the desire to "learn" the productRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong mechanical aptitude and fabrication mindset.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Proficient in using basic hand tools, including saws.Proficient in using a tape measure and performing basic math calculations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong oral and written communications skills.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions efficiently and accurately.Ability to maintain focus and safety awareness in a busy, physically demanding environment.Excellent attendance and dependability.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMachine Operating: 1 year (Required)Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently on a repetitive basis throughout the shift and assist with team lifts of items weighing up to 100 pounds.Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods of time.Required to wear steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, and other personal protective equipment (PPE) as specified.Must be able to safely maneuver pallets and crates using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.Must adhere to all safety protocols and always demonstrate a commitment to a safe working environment.Compensation Target: $18.00 Per hour
