The organization requires one (1) Database Architect 3 (Data Design Developer) to design and implement data architecture and schemas and support enterprise data integrations for the notification platform on Microsoft Azure and Power Platform. The organization is seeking staff augmentation resources for software development tasks that span its full operational scope. These contract positions support the development of applications in Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure, focused on process improvement for mission-critical processes, including public-facing service applications. The engagement seeks professionals with demonstrated experience in the design, deployment, enhancement, and support of highly available, mission-critical applications serving public-facing and internal business functions, primarily on Microsoft Azure and Power Platform. Candidates must have expertise in the tools, governance frameworks, security practices, and delivery methodologies commonly employed by large enterprises to develop, integrate, and maintain complex business applications. The initial scope includes enhancement, optimization, and enterprise integration of a public-facing notification platform that requires additional integration with key enterprise systems. Services may include data architecture and design, application development to support new business processes, refinement and automation of existing processes, enterprise system integrations, UX/UI improvements, accessibility enhancements, quality assurance, performance optimization, and scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Data Design Developer needs to be proficient in the Data Platforms in use and needs to make themselves familiar with applications and their data structures/schemas.
The Data Design Developer needs to be able to understand business needs and be able to advise on how to append to an existing solution as well as how to design new structures/schemas.
The Data Design Developer needs to be able to implement an entire data architecture supporting, as well as adapt an existing architecture, for deployment in production applications.
There is a clear expectation for team collaboration and the use of the Agile methodology.

Required experience:
5 years. Data platforms: Azure SQL Database/SQL managed instance, Azure Blob Storage & Cosmos DB for MongoDB, and BI reporting data layer.
Required experience:
5 years. Transit data: Experience with GTFS & enhanced GTFS/GTFS-RT modeling; complementary organization-specific data models; stop/route/network data alignment.
Required experience:
5 years. Engineering: .NET Core or Node.js on Azure; data pipelines, ingestion/transformation, and data quality/governance.
Required experience:
5 years. Integration: Data-driven, cross-platform API models; data mapping for Adobe/AEM, CRM, and downstream feeds.
Required experience:
5 years. Reporting: Data structures supporting operational dashboards, analytics, archive/search, and audit logging.
Required experience: 5 years. Role Qualification: Must qualify for a Level 3 ITCL Category.
Required experience: 8 years. Third-Party Systems: Experience in working with third-party systems.
