Automotive Mechanic

We are currently seeking an Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The Automotive Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on a variety of gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, stake beds, trucks, vans, and construction equipment.ScheduleMonday - Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.ResponsibilitiesConduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil and filter changes, tune-ups, brake and shock replacementsPerform work from floor creepers, two-post lifts, jack stands or in-ground liftsInspect and diagnose engines, transmissions, and other components using diagnostic tools and equipmentTroubleshoot equipment and vehicle performance problems Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and internal teams to provide updates on repair status and material requirementsEnsure a clean and safe work environment while strictly adhering to all safety protocolsPerform test drives of vehicles in compliance with company guidelinesAssist with additional duties as needed to support departmental operationsRequirementsMinimum of three years of recent and relevant experience as an automotive mechanic Proficient in English communication, with the ability to write reports and emails clearly and effectivelyCapable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shiftValid driver’s license Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle background checkAbout The CompanySuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality electrical and plumbing solutions across California and other states.
