Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservicesDevelop and enhance Angular-based UI componentsWork with Oracle for data persistenceDeploy and support applications on OpenShiftUse GitHub Copilot and AI tools for faster and higher-quality developmentParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisionsCollaborate with UI, QA, DevOps, and product teamsEnsure application performance, security, and scalabilityQualifications:Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Strong hands-on experience in Java (Java 8 or above)Expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful API development, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPAExperience building and supporting microservices architectureStrong experience with Oracle Database, SQL and PL/SQL, Data modeling and schema designWorking knowledge of OpenShift, containerized application deploymentsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelinesPractical experience using GitHub Copilot, Code generation and refactoringDesired Qualifications:Experience with Docker and KubernetesKnowledge of Spring Security, OAuth2, JWTExposure to public cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)Experience with JUnit, Mockito for unit testingFamiliarity with Agile / Scrum methodologiesKnowledge of logging and monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
