Lead Assembler

LR Dynamics is seeking a full-time Lead Assembler to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. A Lead Assembler at LR Dynamics is responsible for creating and following SOPs to assemble key products correctly and efficiently, work with the Operations Manager on continuous improvement throughout the shop, maintain an organized work area and following quality procedures to ensure we do not ship defective products to customers. Our products ship worldwide, and we serve a very stable industry. Responsibilities: Lead all assembly shop employees Work with Operations manager and VP of Customer Relations to schedule assembly lines Become the leading authority on all product assemblies Create Standard Operating Procedures Assemble products following Standard Operating Procedures Ensure quality at the source by strictly following quality check procedures Work to improve efficiency by identifying waste in the process Work with team to develop ways to reduce waste and non-value-added time in the assembly process Be open to learning new skills and procedures in multiple areas including assembly for all the products we sell Learn and follow our work tracking system to ensure accurate reporting Participate in culture training and other skills training as required Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards Be an active team member - willing to learn and grow and make things better Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to speak English fluently Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in product assembly Basic mathematical abilities Ability to lead with humility Understanding of 5S is preferred, but not required Must be an effective communicator Ability to lift up to 75lbs LR Dynamics is committed to providing equal employment opportunities.
