Associate Director, Fire Alarm Operations

Position OverviewDGA Security is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Fire Alarm Operations to lead our Fire Alarm division. This role is responsible for overseeing installation, service, inspection, and project management operations while ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standards.This is a leadership role focused on driving operational excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementLead and manage installation, service, inspection, and project management teamsCoach, mentor, and develop team membersFoster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvementOperations & Project ExecutionOversee fire alarm installations, service, and inspections across NYCEnsure compliance with NFPA codes, NYC regulations, and company standardsDrive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction across all projectsProject & Financial OversightEnsure projects are delivered on time and within budgetOversee WIP tracking, project profitability, and labor utilizationLead weekly project review meetings to remove roadblocks and maintain financial performancePartner with teams to ensure accurate billing, forecasting, and cost controlCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Sales, Engineering, and Security OperationsSupport accurate estimating, project planning, and process alignmentEstablish and track key performance metricsTraining & DevelopmentSupport training, certifications, and career development for team membersEnsure compliance with licensing and certification requirementsQualifications7+ years of experience in fire alarm systems, fire protection, or related fieldProven experience managing teams and project workflowsStrong knowledge of NFPA codes and NYC fire code requirementsNICET II required (NICET III preferred)Strong financial and operational management skillsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilitiesCompensationCompetitive salary: $150,000 – $170,000 (based on experience)Bonus eligibilityAbout Our CompanyDGA Security is a high-growth security technology company. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $150,000 and $170,000 dollars which represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting.
