PATIENT ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE

Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our patients and our team members. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prioritize delinquent accounts by age and dollar amount. Perform collection activities; contact patients and resubmit claims to third-party payors. Submit copies of office notes and operative reports. Review third-party Explanation of Benefits for appropriate payment. Answer patient questions and inquiries regarding their account. Identify and solve patient billing complaints. Compile information and prepare reports. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED. EXPERIENCE: Two years of collection experience in the medical field.
