Share Manager Position Description The Senior Student Services Coordinator provides friendly, professional, quality end-to-end service to students for all areas represented by the Division of Student Services & Student Engagement, and is committed to improving student services, providing operational excellence across all service delivery methods. This role takes the lead in advising on complex issues and problems and provides cross-functional support in the areas of Accessibility, Student Engagement, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, and Military Affiliated Student Services. Requisition ID 38873BR Work Location El Paso Org Level 1 Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso Campus HSC - El Paso Department SSSE Admin and Ops Elp Major/Essential Functions Assist in day-to-day OSSSE operations to ensure that student services inquiries and requests are addressed in a timely, accurate, courteous and helpful manner. Counsel, advise, investigate, problem-solve, and resolve questions and challenges from students, parents, and staff, with regard to student support services, through both in-person and virtual modalities. Act as a facilitator to resolve student service issues; be knowledgeable about all student benefits and functions across the offices within the Division of Student Services & Student Engagement. Foster a student-service-oriented culture by promoting a strong commitment to meeting student needs, ensuring their success, and continuously improving their experience throughout their journey. Provide Exceptional Support: Lead by example and encourage others to provide outstanding assistance to students. Offer guidance and resources and foster an empathetic and respectful environment that values each student’s unique perspective. May assist in the evaluation and issuance of student admissions/academic records. May load transfer courses, establish equivalencies, and enhance the equivalency database. May investigate appeals, waivers, and petitions as well as supporting documentation to make decisions, and evaluate and complete appeals. Conducts presentations to students, parents, prospective students, other University and external audiences. Monitors policy, procedure, and student changes, and to ensure accuracy. Participates in developing and implementing new initiatives and programs. May assist the AVP for Student Services & Student Engagement with monitoring the student services related expenditures. As needed, assist with student engagement and other SSSE activities. Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes. Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution. Perform all other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with two years supervisory experience; OR Combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal six years. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree with one year of higher education or customer service experience.
