Support the development and implementation of the district locally developed assessment program. Support research and evaluation initiatives that aim at improving the achievement and growth of students in the district. Support the reporting of data, analyses, and improvement efforts to accelerate student learning, growth, and achievement.Qualifications:Education/Certification:* Master's degree (required)* Mid-management or principal's certificationSpecial Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of the state testing program and accountability systemsAbility to use student achievement data systemsAbility to create advanced reports and tablesAbility to interpret research analysis and reportsExcellent ability to use personal computer and software programs to collect, report, and present data and test-related information, Excel, Access, SPSS, PowerBI, Cognos, and other Dashboard platformsAbility to develop and deliver training to adult learnersExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, or similar) is considered an assetExperience:* Three (3) years' experience in leadership, research, and evaluation* Campus and/or district level administrative experience preferredMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Analyze, interpret, and communicate student assessment and performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.Provide district and campus leaders with timely, clear, and actionable data and reports to support the development and monitoring of student achievement goals.Support district and school leaders in planning, implementing, and monitoring continuous improvement efforts to increase student growth, graduation rates, and outcomes.Collaborate with instructional leaders to design, select, administer, and evaluate assessment tools and measurement instruments for instructional programs and pilot initiatives.Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of districtwide initiatives and programs (i.e., Locally Developed Assessment Program, Teacher Incentive Allotment).Develop, conduct, and present research studies, statistical analyses, and evaluation reports; provide customized analyses to meet district and campus needs.Consult with district staff to develop, administer, and interpret evaluation guidelines, procedures, and performance metrics.Complete required state and federal evaluation, compliance, and accountability reports.Compile, maintain, secure, and manage assessment data, research documentation, records, and reports in accordance with district and regulatory requirements.Data LiteracyDemonstrates strong data literacy by effectively interpreting, analyzing, and applying multiple data sources to inform instructional, operational, and strategic decision-making at the campus and district levels.Builds shared understanding of data literacy by supporting leaders and staff in asking meaningful questions of data, identifying trends and root causes, and translating data into actionable improvement strategies.Strengthens campus capacity to use student performance, growth, and program data to guide instructional planning, progress monitoring, and continuous improvement.Leads districtwide efforts to ensure consistent data definitions, practices, and tools that align campus work with district priorities and accountability expectations.Provides training and support on state and federal accountability systems, including performance indicators, and growth measures.Supports principals and campus leadership teams in understanding accountability data, implications for campus improvement planning, and strategies for improving designated outcomes.Facilitates data and accountability conversations that move beyond compliance to promote clarity, ownership, and informed decision-making.Designs and delivers professional learning to improve data literacy and accountability understanding across campuses and departments.Promotes a culture of inquiry, transparency, and continuous improvement where data is used to support growth and collaboration rather than comparison.Strengthens relationships and systems to ensure data and accountability practices are timely, accurate, and focused on improving student outcomes.Leavers, Graduation, and IGC DataConducts regular reviews of Leaver, Graduation, and IGC data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with state accountability requirements.Performs data quality checks to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential compliance risks, and works with campuses to resolve issues in a timely manner.Provides targeted training and technical assistance to campus staff as needed to strengthen understanding of leaver codes, graduation requirements, and IGC data entry and monitoring.Report Graduation data, leaver codes and IGC data to district and campus staff.OtherAttend board meetings as requiredSupport the preparation and presentation of reports related to student achievement, research, and evaluation initiativesFollow district safety protocols and emergency proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by Chief of School Improvement and AccountabilitySupervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervise and conduct performance evaluations of assigned staff as needed.EvaluationPerformance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of Professional Supervisor Personnel.Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including computer and peripheralsPosture: Standing, prolonged sitting, occasional kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing pulling, and twistingMotion: Repetitive hand motions;
