We are driven by optimism about people’s capacity to change and by our commitment to the science of change.The Recovery Specialist Supervisor is responsible for supervising, overseeing, and supporting the recovery specialists team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and ethical recovery support services, and guiding the team in meeting organizational and regulatory standards.This a full-time position, Monday-Friday day shift. May require occasional weekend support.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision and Training: Supervise, coach, mentor, and provide ongoing training for recovery specialists, ensuring they meet organizational standards and best practices. Client Care: Contribute to the development and refinement of services to ensure that the needs of clients are met, and outcomes are positive. Team Leadership: Build a positive and supportive team environment, fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members. Documentation: Ensure records are accurate and complete as related to client services, program activities, and staff performance. Ethical Conduct and Compliance: Ensure that all staff and services adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements. Problem-Solving: Identify and implement solutions to problems related to client care, programming, or staffing. Staff Support: Provide support and guidance to staff to enhance performance and ensure job satisfaction.Program Facilitation: Assist and facilitate in the planning and execution of program activities.Hiring: Participate in team interviewsRequirementsBachelors Degree or equivalent related experienceMinimum 3-5+ years previous experience in supervision, training and coachingValid Drivers License required Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality protocolStrong professional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of addiction treatment and recovery principlesStrong desire to collaborate, support& promote a positive team environment Understanding of peer support models and ethicsExperience in providing direct services to individuals with substance use disorders or co-occurring disordersAbility to work effectively with diverse populations, stakeholders, personality typesCapacity to manage multiple responsibilities and work independentlyUnderstanding of relevant regulatory and accreditation standards
