.NET Blazor Developer

Position Type: Hybrid (2 days onsite)Location: Mechanicsburg, PADuration: 10 monthsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a .NET Blazor Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and backend services in a Microsoft technology environment. This role is responsible for building responsive Blazor-based user interfaces, developing scalable .NET APIs and microservices, and supporting cloud-native solutions using Azure technologies. The ideal candidate has experience developing secure, high-performance applications, optimizing data access, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise software solutions. Local candidates are preferred.DutiesDesign, develop, and maintain web applications using Microsoft Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly).Build and enhance RESTful APIs using modern .NET development practices.Design, develop, and maintain microservices with well-defined service boundaries and API contracts.Containerize applications using Docker and Podman while supporting standardized development and CI/CD workflows.Develop and maintain Azure Functions to support event-driven processing and system integrations.Design and optimize data solutions using Azure Cosmos DB and SQL databases.Improve application performance through query optimization, indexing, partitioning strategies, and efficient data access patterns.Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable software following established coding standards and best practices.Establish and maintain logging, monitoring, error handling, and security-by-design practices across applications.Support application deployments and environment promotion across development, testing, and production environments.Assist with production support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and release readiness activities.Collaborate with architects, development leads, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to engineering standards and architectural decisions.Review and enhance existing application code while identifying opportunities for modernization and performance improvements.Required Skills5+ years of experience developing applications using C# and the Microsoft .NET platform.Experience developing applications with Microsoft Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly).Strong knowledge of modern .NET development, including dependency injection, asynchronous programming, and API development.Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.Hands-on experience with Docker and/or Podman for application containerization and troubleshooting.Experience developing and deploying Azure Functions.Strong experience working with Azure Cosmos DB, including partitioning, indexing, consistency models, and performance optimization.Experience designing and optimizing SQL databases, schemas, and complex queries.Knowledge of application performance tuning and database optimization techniques.Experience implementing logging, monitoring, exception handling, and secure software development practices.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with Angular.Experience supporting or modernizing WCF Services.Experience with ASP.NET applications and legacy codebases.Experience reviewing and enhancing existing enterprise applications.Experience working in Agile software development environments.
