Quick Lane Lube Technician (Entry-Level Automotive Technician) Lewis Auto Group is looking for a dependable and motivated Lube Technician to join our service team. What You'll Do:Perform oil changes and replace oil filtersCheck and top off vehicle fluids (brake, coolant, transmission, power steering, washer fluid)Inspect tires, check air pressure, and perform tire rotationsConduct basic vehicle inspections and report concerns to service advisorsReplace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, bulbs, and perform other light maintenanceAccurately document work performed on repair ordersMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollow all dealership and safety procedures, including proper disposal of materialsWork as part of a team to keep the service department running efficiently What We're Looking For:High school diploma or equivalentWillingness to learn - training providedBasic automotive knowledge is helpful but not requiredStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentAbility to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the dayValid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred (Not Required):Previous experience as a Lube Technician or automotive service assistantASE or other automotive certifications Work Environment:Standing, bending, lifting, and working with tools for extended periodsExposure to shop noise, automotive fluids, and varying temperaturesPPE provided and required Why Work With Lewis Auto Group?Entry-level role with career growth opportunitiesOn-the-job training and support from experienced techniciansStable, team-oriented work environmentFamily-owned organization with a strong local reputation Job Qualifications Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredOn-the-job training provided for motivated candidatesPrevious experience as a Lube Technician or automotive maintenance role preferred, but not required Skills & AbilitiesBasic knowledge of automotive systems and routine vehicle maintenanceAbility to perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and other light maintenance tasks accurately and efficientlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team membersAbility to work in a fast-paced, hands-on, and physically demanding environmentAbility to lift up to 80 lbs, bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periodsComfortable using automotive tools and equipment such as oil drainers, tire changers, and liftsKnowledge of and adherence to safety procedures, including proper handling of automotive fluids and hazardous materialsValid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred QualificationsASE or other automotive certificationsPrevious experience in a dealership or automotive service environment
