Fire Protection Technician

Farrers Fire Protection is seeking a dedicated Fire Suppression Technician to enhance our team. This role focuses on the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire extinguishers and kitchen hood suppression systems. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with fire protection systems, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Install, inspect, and maintain fire extinguishers and kitchen hood suppression systems. Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Perform maintenance tasks, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of equipment. Identify and replace defective components to maintain system functionality. Complete detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of service activities. Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire protection systems preferred but not required ** _ Pay is based on experience, certifications, and demonstrated ability to work independently. _ Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards related to fire suppression systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
