Millwork/Casework Installer

Overview Our installers and potential field superintendents will be responsible for installing the different types of millwork/casework the company fabricates. This can include but is not limited to: cabinets, vanities, free standing furniture, wall panels, display units, etc. Must be able to travel and work in secure areas, such as airports. The ideal candidate will also have their own tools (some specific tools are provided), be able to communicate verbally and written, be self motivated to get jobs complete on time, present themselves professionally, and be a team player. Duties Travel to job sites to conduct site surveys and installation of millwork the company fabricates. Read and assess construction drawings. Take field dimensions in order to provide the company/shop the information required to fabricate product correctly. Install products in accordance with the requirements of the project. Conduct safety assessments and requirements for each duty to ensure their own safety, as well as that of their coworkers and people around them. Attend meetings with the client on site. Coordinate work schedules with client and our internal team to complete installs on time. Handle materials and products during deliveries on site, both manually and with the utilization of equipment. Complete daily reports to the office. Make deliveries, if needed. Skills Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for various tasks related to case management. Knowledge of carpentry, including installation techniques for cabinets, wall panels, countertops, etc. Familiarity with reading and understanding construction drawings. Bilingual is a plus, but not specifically required. Experience driving and utilizing equipment such as fork lifts, pallet jacks, scissor/boom lifts, etc. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to build effective solutions for clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and coworkers.
