Cashier/Customer Service

Position Title: Cashier (4am-10am-Part-Time) We are looking for Cashiers who enjoy working with the public and have a friendly, outgoing personality. Our Cashier’s focus is to achieve a best in class customer experience that exceeds our customer’s expectations time and time again. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, displays a positive attitude and has great attention to detail. Tasks and Responsibilities: Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting customers and conducting transactions. Operates Point of Sale/cash register, scanner, credit card/debit card terminal and fuel console accurately and efficiently. Performs basic math functions to collect payments and make change. Promotes a positive team environment. Performs light paperwork duties as assigned. Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the employee handbook. Maintains a well-organized, safe and clean work environment. Promotes the rewards program as well as approved merchandise or marketing programs. Follows company policies as well as industry, sanitation and safe food handling procedures. Completes all other tasks and activities assigned by Management. Prerequisites: Education: Some high school or equivalent. Experience & Skills: Prior cash handling experience preferred but not required. Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction. Physical: Must be able to work any area of the store when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Background check required. Must be 21 years or older.
