Our programming is designed not only to support founders as they build and scale, but also to engage experienced operators and industry partners who play a critical role in shaping a thriving ecosystem.As part of the Naturally Network, we connect our regional community to a broader national platform—bringing together founders, brands, retailers, investors, and service providers to build a more collaborative, inclusive, and resilient natural products industry.Role OverviewThe Program Manager is responsible for leading the development, execution, and evolution of all Naturally NorCal programming—including events, peer forums, and community experiences.This role sits at the center of member and partner engagement and plays a key leadership function in shaping how our community connects and grows. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to manage details while keeping a clear vision for impactful, inclusive programming.Need to Have5+ years of experience in program management, events, community engagement, or related rolesStrong organizational and project management skills, including managing budgets, timelines, and multiple prioritiesExperience working with entrepreneurs, startups, service providers and high-growth companiesExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to build and manage relationships across members, partners, sponsors, and vendorsExperience evaluating program success through metrics and feedbackComfortable working cross-functionally and in a remote environment with in-person engagementDevelop marketing and communication copy and graphics to promote eventsNice to HaveExperience as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator or similar hybrid roleBackground in natural products, CPG, or food & beverage industriesExperience with CRM systems and event registration toolsFamiliarity with email marketing, social media, and website managementExperience working in a nonprofit or membership-based organizationBachelor's degree preferredCore ResponsibilitiesProgrammingDesign and manage the annual calendar of events, peer forums, and educational programmingOversee program execution from concept through delivery in a committee formatManage budgets, timelines, and resources in partnership with the Executive DirectorCollaborate with members, speakers, sponsors, and partners to deliver high-quality experiencesTrack participation and gather feedback to continuously improve programmingManage event registration systems and CRM updatesSupervise staff, contractors, and/or volunteers supporting programsRepresent Naturally NorCal at key regional eventsMarketing & CommunicationsManage the programming communications calendarDevelop marketing copy and coordinate promotional materialsSupport website updates and social media related to programsPartner with marketing support to ensure consistent and timely promotionCollaboration & LeadershipContribute to organizational strategy and planningWork closely with the Executive Director, board, and committee leaders to identify community needsServe as a connector and advocate for members and partnersParticipate in regular coordination with Naturally Network chaptersCross-Functional & Community FocusThis is a highly cross-functional role spanning programming, marketing, partnerships, and community engagement.
