Quality Assurance Manager

Experience7 years related work experience at a 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station and exposure to 14 CFR Part 21 PAH or AS9100 Aerospace Manufacturing5 years in a leadership role managing others Education / CertificationsBachelor's or Associates degree in a related field preferredFAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license(s) (A&P) requiredFAA Inspector Authorization strongly preferred MUST have aircraft modification and R&DQualifications and Competencies Solid understanding of the Federal Aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, methods, techniques, and practices contained in the applicable manufacturers' maintenance and alteration documents, and other data acceptable to, or approved by the FAAAbility to provide direction and receive input and feedback from others on the management teamExperience in DCMA flight operations and ground operation procedures compliance and adherence preferredAble to manage a team of quality professionals, working in a goal-centric environmentAbility to read and interpret technical data, repair drawings, and/or engineering drawingsKnowledge of FAA regulations, specifically 14 CFR Part 21, 43, 65, 91, and 145Experience in or familiar with research of aircraft historical records and logbooksExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong work ethic, detail-oriented, and organized
