Lead Instructor – Mathnasium (Mansfield North)
We are hiring a Lead Instructor in Mansfield North to support instructional excellence and provide leadership within our Mathnasium Learning Center. This Lead Instructor role is ideal for experienced instructors, tutors, or educators who are ready to step into a leadership position while continuing to work directly with students.
The Lead Instructor plays a key role in maintaining instructional quality, coaching instructors, and ensuring a consistent, positive experience for students and families.
Quick Role Summary
As a Lead Instructor, you will manage the classroom during instructional hours, coach and develop instructors, and ensure students receive effective and engaging math instruction using the Mathnasium Method. You will serve as Manager on Duty and support the Center Director in delivering a high-quality center experience.
This role blends instructional leadership, classroom management, and customer experience.

What You Will Do
Lead the classroom environment as a Lead Instructor
Manage instructional flow and maintain appropriate student-to-instructor ratios
Coach, train, and support instructors to ensure high-quality instruction
Ensure consistent implementation of the Mathnasium Method
Deliver effective math instruction when needed
Serve as Manager on Duty, including opening and closing the center
Conduct center tours and support consultative enrollment conversations
Schedule assessments and assist with student enrollment
Monitor student progress and communicate with the Center Director
Provide feedback on instructor performance and development
Participate in local marketing initiatives and community outreach
Help create a fun, positive, and productive learning environment

Requirements
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of math concepts through 12th grade
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to connect with students, parents, and team members
Demonstrated leadership ability and sound judgment in fast-paced environments
Ability to coach, train, and engage instructional staff
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Collaborative leadership mindset with ability to delegate responsibilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
High School diploma or G.E.D. required; some college preferred
Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time Lead Instructor role.
Typical schedule includes:
Monday–Thursday: afternoons and evenings (approximately 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Sunday: approximately 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Lead Instructors typically work 20–25 hours per week, depending on center needs.
