Job Description The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) Recruitment Coordinator is committed to expanding educational opportunities for migrant seasonal farm-workers and their families. This position requires developing and implementing a robust recruitment plan that meets the needs of potential HEP participants and ensures that annual recruitment goals for the program are met. This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered. Key Responsibilities Develops and oversees implementation of HEP recruitment plan. Maintains current knowledge of HEP eligibility requirements. Provides timely and accurate information to potential HEP participants and their families. Establishes and maintains partnerships with local agencies and employers who work with migrant seasonal farm-workers. Schedules and attends recruitment events, which may include evening, weekend and overnight activities. Verifies and documents participants' eligibility for HEP services. Facilitates participants' transition to HEP services. Communicates with other program staff about participants' needs. Ensures that annual outreach and recruitment goals for the program are met. Assists in the development and management of the residential program. Other duties as assigned to ensure the delivery of high-quality recruitment and student services. Minimum Qualifications At least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. At least two years of professional experience supporting individuals from a variety of backgrounds. At least one year working in an educational program. Excellent communication skills. Experience with social media. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and responsive to potential participants' needs. Demonstrated cultural sensitivity. Preferred Qualifications Experience with GED preparation. Experience with recruitment and/or educational outreach. Migrant seasonal farm-worker background or experience. Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English. Salary will be $49,750 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
