Technical Program Manager II

Overview In this role you will drive the evolution of Azure Monitor’s data collection, telemetry pipeline, and configuration management platform. You’ll own experiences and platform capabilities that help customers discover, collect, configure, and govern telemetry across Azure, multicloud, on-premises, and edge environments. You will work at the intersection of customer experience, distributed systems, and data platform engineering, collaborating to simplify onboarding and operation at scale. This position offers the chance to shape observability experiences and contribute to a rapidly growing, enterprise-scale data platform. ResponsibilitiesOwn product investments for Azure Monitor data collection and configuration scenariosIdentify opportunities to reduce operational complexity and improve customer adoption, reliability, and efficiencyCreate clear product requirements, scenarios, success criteria, and operational metricsEngage with strategic customers to understand observability architectures and operational challengesWork with internal stakeholders across Azure services to ensure Azure Monitor provides consistent and integrated monitoring experiencesDrive cross-team initiatives from concept through launchManage dependencies, risks, stakeholder alignment, and communication plans Key requirements1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projectsBachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experienceAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements including Microsoft Cloud Background Checkcollaborationstakeholder managementcommunicationAzure MonitorLog AnalyticsApplication Insights
