Business Development Representative

We've raised >$50M and acquired four companies in less than nine months.Role OverviewWe're looking for a Business Development Rep who lives on the phone. Your job is simple: find software company founders and get them talking to us. You'll cold call, show up at conferences, fly out to meet founders, and do whatever it takes to start conversations that turn into acquisitions. This is a high-volume, high-energy role for someone who thrives on rejection, loves the chase, and knows how to get past gatekeepers.What You'll DoCold call software company founders and decision-makers - hundreds of dials a weekTravel to conferences, trade shows, and founder meetups to build relationships face-to-faceGet on planes at short notice to meet founders wherever they areRun creative outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn to break through to hard-to-reach peopleBuild and maintain a pipeline of founder relationships in our CRMQualify opportunities and hand off warm conversations to the deal teamWork closely with the founders to target new verticals, geographies, and channelsWhat We're Looking For1-3 years in a high-volume sales, SDR/BDR, or business development role - you've made thousands of cold calls and you're good at itFearless on the phone: you don't take rejection personally and you know how to keep a conversation goingThe gift of the gab - natural, confident, and able to build rapport with anyone from a bootstrapped founder to a seasoned CEOHungry, competitive, and self-motivated - you set your own pace and it's fastWilling to travel frequently and at short noticeOrganized enough to manage a high volume of conversations without letting anything slipGenuinely curious about software businesses and what makes founders tickSoftware industry experience preferredWhy Join Us?This is a front-line role at a fast-growing acquisition firm.
