Please apply only if you have an active TS/SCI clearance. ***North Point Technology is hiring a senior DevOps engineer to deploy, secure, and sustain mission-critical microservices in a Linux-based AWS environment supporting high-impact national security work.Responsibilities:In this role, you will support the deployment of microservices through a DevSecOps pipeline in a Linux-based multi-tenant environment. You will design, implement, secure, and troubleshoot AWS virtual networks, including VPC connectivity, while developing, updating, and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipeline code. You will configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers, review code in Git, create engineering and DevOps documentation, support developer deployments and testing, provide technical guidance across capabilities and microservices, and perform security remediation based on scan results.Required Qualifications:Self-starter who communicates clearly and works well across teamsExperience developing and reviewing custom software solutionsStrong GitLab experience, including scripting and pipeline troubleshootingHands-on experience with AWS services including CloudFormation, S3, ECS, and EKSExperience designing and supporting serverless solutions with Lambda and API GatewayExperience supporting development, integration, and test activitiesExperience working with modern cloud architecturesStrong understanding of DevSecOps principles and release workflowsExperience creating and managing CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of software development and sustainment lifecycle practicesProficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other team collaboration toolsPreferred Qualifications:Deep experience with GitLab CI/CDExperience with AWS Lambda and ECS in production environmentsHands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting Docker containersAWS certification such as DevOps Engineer or Solutions ArchitectExperience with ArcGIS or geospatial platformsNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country's most crucial missions!
