You'd be working across the core platform that handles trading, money movement, financing, and fund management, designing event-driven systems that orchestrate and reconcile complex flows of funds, and making the calls on how capital moves at scale.The team is small enough that this role doesn't sit in a narrow lane. Alongside the core platform work, there's real scope to shape the data and reporting layer: building the pipelines, warehouse architecture, and automation that power business intelligence, compliance reporting, regulatory submissions, and customer-facing statements. For someone who's watched financial data go to waste in fragile pipelines or clunky reporting stacks, this is the chance to do it properly from day one.You'll be in architecture discussions, planning, and code reviews across the stack, and you'll have genuine input on what gets built and how.What you'll be working on:Building and maintaining core trading, financing, and fund management systemsDesigning systems that orchestrate and reconcile complex flows of fundsAPI design and event-driven architecture across the core platformBuilding data pipelines and warehouse infrastructure that power reporting and analyticsAutomating compliance reporting, regulatory submissions, and customer-facing statementsContributing across the stack as the team and product evolveWhat you'll bring:Strong backend engineering in Kotlin, Rust, Java, Go, C/C++, Python, Ruby, or TypeScriptSolid architecture instincts across APIs and event-driven systemsMySQL or PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)Strong SQL and data modelling for analyticsBonus:Kotlin (the house language)Trading, lending, or asset management systemsSnowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, dbtTemporalFintech or early-stage experienceWho thrives hereThis is a lean team that moves fast and expects people to operate with high agency.
